I finally had some free time this weekend to get crackin’ on my part of the assignment. Working full time @ 2 different jobs and tackling school has been harder than I thought. Anyhoo, I was given the IO_Label class for my team. After breaking it down and analyzing each function, it actually wasn’t as difficult as I expected. Spent the whole day working on it, and I’m pretty much done with it.. no error messages, but I haven’t checked the actual output yet.. will wait for team to complete their parts. There were some tricky parts involving some casting..
I kept using (char*) variablename to cast, and after some trifling, found that ((char*) variablename) was the correct way to do it. I’m *so* looking forward to the test tomorrow!!

I’ve been really cramped working full time and being in school. After taking 2 years off, I thought It’d be easier this time around, but it’s not. On the plus side, I’m a lot more focused than I was. It’s pretty late, but I’ve finally started working on the assigment, and managed to successfully complete most of the KEY switches. Some of them were a pain!! Must take a break for now, as I’m off to Montreal until tuesday for the long weekend. Going to jam to some progressive house music at an epic party called Black and Blue.. until the wee hours.. and then the return to Stereo. Gotta love Montreal’s night life! Will be well relaxed and fulfilled when I get back.. so hopefully I’ll get crackin’ more with this assignment. I’m having a bit of trouble writing the default key switch.. any resources/websites that can help push me in the right direction?
